Whether you're engaging in daily/weekly routines or quarterly/annual check-ups, this guide will walk you through the essential steps for proper care, highlighting environmentally friendly cleaning practices and maintenance tips to keep your equipment in peak condition. Let's make sure your equipment stays in top shape!

Daily/Weekly Maintenance

Ensure the racks and equipment stay in top-notch condition by conducting a thorough cleaning weekly. Utilize environmentally friendly, nontoxic, and biodegradable cleaners such as Gym Wipes or PureGreen 24. Keep equipment indoors, unless explicitly designed for outdoor use. Prior to use, inspect Safety Accessories (J-Hooks and Spotter Arms) for any abnormalities or damage. Promptly notify us if you observe anything out of the ordinary. If you have any questions, reach out to us via email at support@plae.global.

Ensure all bolts and hardware are tightly secured. Tighten any loose 1” bolts using a 1 1/2” wrench or socket with mid torque impact wrench. Tighten any loose gusset bolts with a 3/8" Allen wrench or socket with mid torque impact wrench.

Inspect cables for wear or damage, replacing any worn or damaged cables immediately. Check weight stacks for proper alignment and operation. Wipe guide rods thoroughly and apply a light coat of Silicone Lubricant for lubrication—Refrain from utilizing WD-40 or similar products, as they are primarily designed for cleaning and de-greasing purposes.

Quarterly/Annual Maintenance

Maintain the cleanliness and dryness of equipment frames to minimize the risk of rust or corrosion. Regularly clean the rack, especially post-workout, using an environmentally friendly cleaner (e.g., Gym Wipes, or PureGreen 24). Note that scratches and gouges may result from regular use, and it's advisable to avoid placing equipment in high humidity areas, near water, or outdoors, as it may adversely affect the paint and finish.

Inspect upholstery for rips and tears. Use a solution of 10% household liquid dish soap with warm water applied using a soft damp cloth for general cleaning. For stubborn stains, employ a solution of liquid cleanser and water, applying it with a soft bristle brush and wiping away residue with a water-dampened cloth.
