Inflating Med Ball

Inflating Med Ball

This quick fix takes just a couple of minutes! Follow these easy steps to get your Med Ball back in shape.

What You Need:

  • Liquid soap (Dawn dish soap works best)
  • Football or basketball air valve
  • Air pump

Steps to Fix Your Med Ball:

  1. Find the vent hole – It’s usually in or near the painted number on the ball.
  2. Dip the air valve in liquid soap.
  3. Insert the air valve into the vent hole.
  4. Inflate the ball slightly—just enough to see it expand a little. Do not overinflate.
  5. Remove the air valve.
  6. Bounce and roll the ball on the floor to help it regain its shape.
  7. Ready to use! If needed, repeat the process.

No Vent Hole? Make One!

If you can’t find a vent hole, use a sharp tool (like an ice pick, awl, or straightened paperclip).

  • Dip the tool in liquid soap.
  • Press it into the center of the plug and push through until you break through (about 3/16 of an inch).
